• Operation Washout nets more than 40 arrests of wanted Lake County fugitives (news-herald.com) — Willoughby residents may notice a safer Lake County after a 10-day U.S. Marshals-led operation arrested more than 40 fugitives, including a man wanted by Willoughby Police for domestic violence who was captured in Cleveland. The sweep focused on drug-related offenders, recovered two firearms, and highlighted how cooperation among local departments and federal authorities aims to keep neighborhoods across the county more secure.
