• Severe Storms With Large Hail, Damaging Winds and a Tornado or Two Target Oklahoma City, Lawton, Wichita Falls, Fort Worth and San Angelo Wednesday Afternoon and Evening (newsbreak.com) — Chickasha is squarely in Wednesday's severe weather risk zone, with forecasters warning of large hail, damaging winds, and even a possible tornado during the afternoon and evening. Residents are urged to secure property, charge phones, and know their safe place as storms roll through an already flood-prone week across Oklahoma and Texas, when evening activities and travel could be disrupted quickly.
• Oklahoma Bracing For Incoming Flooding, Tornado Dangers (klaw.com) — Chickasha sits in a region that's bracing for potentially dangerous flooding as Oklahoma faces torrential rain, with forecasters recalling a 1983 storm that dumped over 16 inches near the city.
