• FAMA Awards 2026 Scholarship to Two Students (fireengineering.com) — An Oklahoma State University student in Stillwater, Tobias Proulx, has been awarded a $1,250 share of a national Fire Apparatus Manufacturers' Association scholarship supporting future fire protection professionals. The honor highlights OSU's Fire Protection and Safety Engineering Technology program and recognizes Proulx's leadership, teaching work, and hands-on industry experience.
   

• Grady County commissioners to discuss asking state to audit sheriff's office (koco.com) — A Stillwater resident's long-running fight to reclaim his stolen four-wheeler has prompted Grady County commissioners to consider asking the state for a special audit of the sheriff's office property handling. Commissioners may request state auditors review all inventoried and non-inventoried items, after the vehicle was recovered in 2021 but still not returned while the case moves through court.
