Greenheck Group celebrates major Oklahoma expansion, 700 new jobs (fox23.com) — Greenheck Group is pouring about $300 million into its Tulsa-area operations, creating more than 700 new jobs and expanding from its existing Tulsa campus into the former Macy's distribution center in Owasso. Local and state leaders joined the company to celebrate an expansion that will more than double its Oklahoma manufacturing footprint, with hiring already underway for a wide range of positions.
   

2. Tulsa Garden Center to host annual Wine & Roses fundraiser (newson6.com) — Tulsa residents can reserve tickets now for the Wine & Roses: Monarchs in Moonlight fundraiser at Woodward Park's Rose Garden on Friday, Sept. 25, supporting Tulsa Garden Center's education and park work. The 21-and-over evening features food from more than 20 local restaurants, extensive wine selections, live music by Annie Ellicott, valet service, and a wine pull.
   

3. Free emergency First Aid Class to teach bleeding, wound care (newson6.com) — A free emergency first aid class in south Tulsa will teach you how to control severe bleeding, pack wounds, apply compression bandages and handle chest injuries. Held Tuesday, Sept. 22 from 6–7:15 p.m. at 9608 E. 71st St., the session is geared toward adults, requires advance registration, and includes graphic educational content but no live-fire elements.
   

4. Tulsa community gathers for Walk to End Alzheimer's (ktul.com) — Tulsa neighbors turned out Saturday for the Walk to End Alzheimer's, raising money to support local families and research through the Alzheimer's Association of Oklahoma. With about 70,500 Oklahomans living with Alzheimer's, organizers stressed that donations from Tulsa walks are a crucial lifeline for services and long-term efforts to find a cure.
   

5. Williams' 3 passing TDs and Jones' kickoff-return TD send Tulsa over East Texas A&M 42-0 (newson6.com) — Tulsa football fans saw a dominant 42-0 home win as Dexter Williams II threw three touchdown passes and Trequan Jones returned a kickoff 98 yards, giving the Golden Hurricane a 3-0 start. A stifling defense delivered Tulsa's first shutout since 2002, and the team now heads to Arkansas next Saturday looking to keep the momentum going.
