Families at affected campuses like Anderson, Hoover, and Central Middle can attend community information sessions between September 29 and October 14 and share feedback through a district survey before the October 19 board vote.
   

2. Tulsa homeowner questions City sidewalk rules after receiving violations (fox23.com) — If you own property in Tulsa, city code makes you responsible for repairing sidewalks, walkways, stairs, and driveways in front of your home, even in the public right of way. One Midtown homeowner's recent violations and questions highlight how complaint-driven code enforcement, fines, and even parking rules on rental properties can surprise residents who aren't familiar with these regulations.
   

3. Tulsa has 13th Most 100° Days Ever in a Given Summer (kjrh.com) — Tulsa just wrapped one of its hottest summers on record, with 35 days hitting at least 100 degrees and the hottest September average temperature ever measured in the city. While the extreme heat is finally easing across Green Country, this year's triple-digit streak ranks among Tulsa's top historical records, trailing only a few notorious summers like 2011 and 2012.
   

4. Open records request for Jamerson review turns up nothing (fox23.com) — Tulsa residents are still waiting for answers about accountability after the city paid $26 million to wrongfully convicted Henry Jamerson, with an ordered review now showing no documents produced. City leaders, police officials, and the public safety commissioner have largely stayed silent, leaving former officials and taxpayers pressing for an independent, transparent examination of how evidence in the case was handled.
   

5. Tulsa, OK: Deputy Shoots Man During Pedestrian Check Near 41st and Sheridan (theunionstar.com) — A Tulsa County sheriff's deputy shot and seriously injured a man who allegedly pulled a gun during a pedestrian check Monday on East 41st Street near South Sheridan in midtown Tulsa. The busy stretch was shut down between Sheridan and I-44 as investigators collected evidence, while nearby businesses and Bishop Kelley High School reported everyone was safe and the deputy was unhurt.
