How the World Responds to Humanitarian Crises
Presented by Alex Humphrey, Global Humanitarian Professional
Humanitarian crises are growing in scale, frequency and complexity. Yet the global systems built to respond to them are under unprecedented strain. We will discuss how the global humanitarian sector works: who funds response, who delivers it, and learn about real-world examples of humanitarian response in action. We'll also explore emerging debates and priorities in the aid sector and what a shrinking aid budget means for the world's most vulnerable communities.
