- It is soil building season!
This morning I coppiced our white mulberry tree and stripped the leaves from each individual stem - aka: chop and drop. Also piled are old pumpkin… (Nextdoor Centennial) - We harvested more grapes, to make even more raisins… The next step is to remove the individual grapes from their stems, wash them in cold tap water and remove any runts or duds.
These washed sorted grapes will be dunked into a large pot of water just off boil for 1.5 minutes. This is just enough time to break their skins. … (Nextdoor Centennial)
