Lake Oswego police log: Kids using resident's pool, racing at Lakeridge High School and more (lakeoswegoreview.com) — Recent Lake Oswego police calls included kids hopping a fence to use a resident's pool, late-night racing on the Lakeridge High School track, and vandalism at George Rogers Park. Officers also handled thefts at New Seasons and Walgreens, a sizable payroll fraud case, and various neighborhood complaints about noise, traffic, and suspicious activity across town. 
2. Lake Oswego Tech Startup Investing in Local Sports Scene, Including Hillsboro Hops (kxl.com) — A Lake Oswego–based startup called Rule42, founded by former Intel president Renee James, is working to make it easier for under-served amateur athletes to connect with recruiters. The company is also becoming a founding partner of the Hillsboro Hops' new ballpark, tying Lake Oswego's tech scene directly into the region's growing youth baseball and softball community.
3. Lake Oswego theater spruces up for 75th anniversary (lakeoswegoreview.com) — If you've noticed construction at Lakewood Center for the Arts, it's part of a fresh paint job and cleanup ahead of the venue's 75th anniversary season. After a faulty sprinkler soaked the Community Arts Pre-School rooms, programs were quickly relocated inside the building so September classes can continue on schedule while restoration work proceeds.
4. Only 14 Oregon rivers are 'navigable': The other 100,000 miles of waterways are in legal limbo (opb.org) — Oregon's long-running fight over who can use rivers and lakes now includes a high-profile Oswego Lake access case that's headed for appeal, while a separate lawsuit over fishing access on Three Rivers highlights how murky "navigability" rules remain. State officials are slowly studying which waterways must stay open, leaving anglers, landowners, and Lake Oswego residents watching closely for decisions that could reshape public access.
