Colleagues and customers celebrated her milestone, praising the friendships, support and warm atmosphere she's helped build over decades of service in the Mid-Valley community. 
• What MusicOregon heard from musicians when it toured the state (ijpr.org) — MusicOregon recently included Salem in a statewide listening tour to hear what local musicians, venue operators, and sound engineers need to thrive. Participants across Oregon described feeling isolated from collaborators and opportunities, and the nonprofit is now exploring directories, regional gatherings, and tourism partnerships to better connect Salem's music community with the rest of the state.
