2-Alarm Fire Battled At Cheltenham Home Sunday
A fire that was brought to two alarms damaged a home in Cheltenham Sunday afternoon.

CHELTENHAM, PA — A fire that was brought to two alarms damaged a home in Cheltenham Sunday afternoon.
The incident occurred at around 1 p.m. Feb. 3 on the 1200 block of Ansley Avenue in the Melrose Park section of the township.
Heavy smoke was billowing out from the roof when crews arrived on the scene.

Crews opened up the second floor ceiling and attic, finding heavy flames in both places.
A second alarm was struck and a fire truck tower was raised to assist in battling the blaze.

Crews spent nearly three hours on the scene putting out the fire.
Crews from Cheltenham, Abington, Wyndmoor, Rockledge, and Willow Grove all responded.
The cause of the blaze is not yet clear. No injuries were reported by authorities.
