• Abington Township votes to ditch Flock cameras over privacy concerns (fox29.com) — Abington Township commissioners have voted to replace Flock Safety surveillance cameras with a new Axon system after residents and police raised serious privacy and data‑security concerns. Only two movable cameras will replace the current three, and officials are exploring ways to exit Abington's Flock contract before its 2028 expiration because of reported data breaches.
   

• Police: Philadelphia woman violated no contact order, assaults police and hospital staff (wissnow.com) — A 60‑year‑old Philadelphia woman is accused of violating a no‑contact order in Fort Washington, then allegedly assaulting Upper Dublin police officers and staff at Jefferson Abington Hospital while highly intoxicated. She was taken to Jefferson Abington Memorial Hospital for treatment, where police say she spat on a nurse and security guard; court hearings are scheduled in late August and September.
