Roslyn Giant Teams Up With Abington Schools
The Abington School District is working with the supermarket through March for food donations to help school families in need.

ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA —The Abington School District is teaming up with the Giant Food Store in Roslyn for a food donation drive.
From now through March 31, anyone who shops at the Susquehanna Road supermarket will be invited to “round up” at the register and donate an amount of their bill to support Feeding School Kids.
Customers can also give by converting their reward points to donations in the Giant app, or by purchasing a reusable bag.

At the end of March, all round-up donations will be tallied and donated to the Abington School District, school officials said.
Donations are used by the Student Services Department to purchase Giant gift cards that are distributed by school district social workers directly to families in need to help supplement their grocery costs.
