Man Wins PA Lottery Twice In One Year For $1.1M Total

A Cumberland County man won $1 million on a scratch-off ticket and also won $100,000 on a different scratch-off ticket this year.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, PA — A Pennsylvania man appears to have some pretty good luck after he won more than $1 million on two separate lottery tickets this year.

According to the Pennsylvania Lottery, Ray Boose Jr. of Cumberland County is $1.1 million richer after winning two scratch-off lottery games.

Boose won $1 million through at Millionaire Maker Scratch-Off ticket he bought in August at a Ugo store in Mount Holly Springs.

This big win is on top of $100,000 he won earlier in the year via a Mining for Millions scratch-off ticket.

Boose is using his winnings to buy a new home.

"I won on a Friday and went to see a house that Saturday," he said. "It’s under contract."

This father of two and grandfather of five said this prize is like a dream. Changing zip codes will also allow him to live closer to where he works, at a plumbing warehouse.

"My wife says I’m probably the luckiest person she knows," Boose said.
