Riverton Enhanced Senior Living Honors U.S. Military Veterans

Allentown Senior Living Community Celebrates Residents for Their Service

Riverton Enhanced Senior Living hosted a special Veteran’s Day lunch for its residents who have proudly served their country in wartime and peacetime. The resident veterans were treated to a meal at Stahley’s, then traveled together to drop off donations at the local American Legion.

Riverton Executive Director Shelby True said, “Words are not enough to express the gratitude we have for the service and sacrifices of our resident veterans. This observance allowed us to come together as a community and do something special to show them how much we appreciate their courage and commitment to keeping us safe.”

Observed annually on November 11, Veteran’s Day is marked by local remembrances and parades across the U.S., as well as a national ceremony held each year at Arlington National Cemetery.
