2 Unlocked Lower Merion Homes Burglarized In 2 Days

One home was hit Monday during the day and now a second has been reportedly hit in the early evening Tuesday.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA – Another unlocked home in Lower Merion Township was hit by a burglar Tuesday, just one day after an unlocked home was hit Monday, according to police.

Police said an unlocked home on the 100 block of Fairview Avenue in Belmont Hills was hit by a burglar Tuesday, Oct. 17.

The crime occurred between 4:30 p.m. and 5 p.m., police said.

Police said one of the home's doors was unlocked and the burglar got inside the home through that door.

After getting into the home, the suspect took a laptop computer, police said.

Police reported a residential burglary occurred Monday in Bryn Mawr. The suspect in that crime also got inside the home through an unlocked door and stole jewelry after getting inside.
