5 Officers Sworn In To Lower Merion Police Department

Five new officers joined the force and a current was promoted to sergeant at a ceremony Thursday morning. Welcome aboard, officers!

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA – Five new officers were sworn into the Lower Merion Police Department and a current member promoted on Thursday.

The department officially welcomed Michael Kirkpatrick, Christopher Resolute, Michael Rosales Stephen Shippen, and Cesar Zavala to the department at a swearing in ceremony Thursday morning.

Magisterial District Judge Karen Zucker presided over the ceremony and Police Superintendent Michael McGrath presented the officers their badges.

Additionally, Thursday's ceremony saw Sean Clifford promoted to the rank of sergeant.
