Alleged Armed Robber Of Wynnewood 7-Eleven Federally Indicted

A 21-year-old Philadelphia man is accused of robbing three convenience stores in one night in December 2021. Now he's federally charged.

WYNNEWOOD, PA — Federal authorities have indicted a Philadelphia man in connection with an armed robbery at a Wynnewood in late 2021.

United States Attorney Jacqueline C. Romero said Saifuddin Hasan, 21, of Philadelphia, was charged by indictment with three counts of Hobbs Act Robbery in connection with three armed robberies which all occurred on the same night in December 2021, in Montgomery County and Philadelphia.

Authorities allege that the night of Dec. 5, 2021 Hasan robbed a Wynnewood 7-Eleven, then a Lukoil station in Philadelphia, and lastly another 7-Eleven in Philadelphia, all at gunpoint.

Hasan first went to the 7-Eleven on City Avenue in Wynnewood and robbed it at gunpoint, the indictment says.

He then is accused of driving up to a City Avenue Lukoil for a second armed robbery.

And finally, authorities said he drove to Philadelphia's Hunting Park neighborhood where he robbed a second 7-Eleven at gunpoint.

Philadelphia Police chased and arrested Hasan after the third armed robbery, according to federal authorities.

"As alleged, this defendant brandished a firearm in the faces of convenience store and gas station employees simply doing their jobs," Romero said. "The charges in this Indictment demonstrate that our Office is committed to investigating and prosecuting violent crime."
