Ardmore 5K Run/Walk To Benefit Local Veterans, Rotary Club

The day will feature prizes, raffles, a Kids Fun Run, and even an after party at Not Your Average Joe's. See here for additional details.

ARDMORE, PA – On May 20, Ardmore Rotary Foundation and CertaPro Painters of the Main Line are hosting a 5K Run/Walk that will benefit local veterans and Rotary projects.

The race will be held at 8:30 a.m. Sunday, May 20 and begin at Suburban Square in Ardmore. The event will cap Armed Forces Weekend.

Runners can register for $25 and walkers for $15.

In addition to the run and walk, the event will also feature a Kids Fun Run, cash prizes, and raffles which all benefit the Ardmore Rotary Foundation.

Following the day's events, Not Your Average Joe’s will host an after party at 10:30 a.m. and donate 15 percent of proceeds to the cause.

Below is the schedule of events for the day:

  • 7:15 a.m. – Registration opens
  • 8:30 a.m. – Start of the race, walk starts immediately after.
  • 9:30 a.m. – Kids fun run
  • 9:45 a.m. – Placement Announcements and cash prizes
  • 10:30 a.m. – Not Your Average Joe's opens for the after party

"We are excited to host the Greater Philadelphia 5k Run for over a half a decade,” said Chris Drucquer, owner of CertaPro Painters of the Main Line.

"We’re proud to be active in our community and we look forward to continuing our support of our local military veterans, their families, and projects through the Ardmore Rotary Foundation," said Andrea Fanfera Drucquer, who handles Sales and Philanthropy for CertaPro Painters of the Main Line and is also the Ardmore Rotary Club’s Vice-President.

Suburban Square is located at Coulter and Anderson avenues. Not Your Average Joe's is located at 49 St. James Place.
