Ardmore Parking Changes Pushed Back
Cricket Avenue parking area, Lot 4, will be closed Monday for soil testing.
The parking changes coming to Ardmore due to construction of One Ardmore Place have been pushed back, according to Lower Merion Township officials.
Assistant Township Manager Robert Duncan said the changes are expected to take effect sometime in November rather than mid to late October as initially planned.
Duncan did say that the Cricket Avenue lot will be closed Monday, Oct. 17 for soil testing.

Some of the changes that are expected to take effect in November include adding: 41 spaces in Temporary Cricket Lot (through September 2017); 5 spaces to Ardmore West Lot through re-striping; 3 new metered spaces on Rittenhouse Place; 1 new metered space on Cricket Terrace. The township announced changes into the parking in Ardmore back in September, saying the changes will accommodate construction of One Ardmore Place by Dranoff Properties. The One Ardmore Place has been a controversial subject with local groups pushing back on the development and several court decisions regarding the project have been handed down.
