Blaze Damages Ardmore Home Saturday: Fire Officials

A third-floor apartment at a home on Spring Avenue in Ardmore was damaged by a fire early Saturday morning, fire officials said.

ARDMORE, PA – Fire damaged a home in the Ardmore section of Lower Merion Township on Saturday, July 21, according to the Merion Fire Company of Ardmore.

The fire company said at about 5:22 a.m. crews were called to 11 E. Spring Ave. in Ardmore for a report of smoke coming from the third floor.

Crews found a working fire in a third-floor apartment.

With the help of Bryn Mawr, Penn Wynne, and Narberth firefighters, the blaze was under control after about 90 minutes of fighting the fire.

No one was hurt in the fire.
