Cat Rescued From Well By Lower Merion Police

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA – Applying the "protect and serve" motto appears to go beyond humans, as shown by Lower Merion Township Police recently as they saved a feline friend.

Lower Merion Police said Sgt. Pepitone, Officer Groff, Officer DiGiovanni and Fireman Paul Daly leaped into action at Lord and Taylor in Bala Cynwyd rescue a kitty.

The four responders successfully saved the cat from a shaft at the store, police said.
