Credit Card Theft Suspect Sought By Lower Merion Police

WYNNEWOOD, PA – Lower Merion Township Police said the man seen above is suspected of using a stolen credit card at various Lower Merion-area businesses, racking up hundreds in illegal purchases.
According to police, officers spoke to the victim at a Wynnewood business at about 1:20 p.m. on Friday, June 15.
The victim told police she got a text from Chase Bank alerting her to a $650 purchase that was made at Target, police said.

She checked her purse and noticed her wallet was missing from her bag, police said.
Police said she found other illegal purchases were made at the Bryn Mawr CVS, the Plymouth Target and Lowe’s, and the Conshohocken Rite Aid.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned black man about 50 years old, standing 6 feet tall, weighing 175 pounds with a balding head. He was wearing a blue T-shirt, jeans, red sneakers, and glasses.
