Deer Rescued After Getting Trapped In Lower Merion Fence
This isn't the first time Lower Merion Township officials have had to help out one of these majestic woodland creatures.
LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA – Protect and serve apparently goes beyond humans, as Lower Merion Police helped rescue a deer that was trapped in a fence at a Penn Valley home.
Police were called to a home in the township Wednesday after a resident reported a deer was stuck in their fence.
Officers Thomas and Mateen showed up and then recruited Animal Control Officer Ed Boegly to assist.

Boegly was able to free the deer.
In September 2016, Boegly was called to help rescue a deer that was trapped in a metal fence and police posted footage of the rescue to their Facebook page.
