DUI Patrols, Checkpoints Coming To Lower Merion Next Weekend
Drive sober or get pulled over. It's that simple.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA – You should never even think about driving while under the influence of drugs or alcohol; doing so poses great danger you you and others. And Lower Merion Township Police will be out in force next weekend cracking down on motorists who are on the roads while impaired. DUI Patrols, Checkpoints Coming To Lower Merion Next Weekend
According to police, from Friday, Sept. 8 to Sunday, Sept. 10, police will have impaired driving checkpoints stationed throughout the township. Not only will checkpoints be in place, increased roving patrols will be on the streets looking for impaired drivers.
The weekend-long DUI enforcement initiative is part of a national effort to combat driving under the influence. The motto for the effort is simple: drive sober or get pulled over.

Next weekend's checkpoints are funded by a PennDOT grant.
