Gas Main Rupture Closes Conshohocken State Road/state Route 23
Construction crew accident caused rupture, township said.
Lower Merion Township said a portion of Conshohocken State Road/state Route 23 is closed after a gas main ruptured.
The rupture, caused by a construction crew accident, closed the road between Waverly and Black Rock roads.
The township said Lower Merion Police estimate the road will be closed until at least 3 p.m. today.

PECO officials are on the scene, the township said.
