I-476 North Affected By Overnight Work This Week: PennDOT

Northbound Interstate 476 will see lane closures all week during the nighttime hours, according to PennDOT.

PennDOT said closures will be in place between the Lancaster Avenue/U.S. Route 30 and Interstate 76 interchanges.

Closures will be effective from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning between Monday, Sept. 18 through Friday, Sept. 22 for beam replacement on the overpass carrying northbound I-476 over Montgomery Avenue, PennDOT said.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the construction areas because slowdowns will occur.

The contractor's schedule is dependent on the weather.
