I-76 In Lower Merion Affected Overnight Next Week
Crews will be preparing the road for work related to a 12.5 mile paving project on the highway.

LOWER MERION, PA – Overnight lane closures are scheduled next week on eastbound and westbound Interstate 76 from just west of U.S. 202 to U.S. 1/City Avenue in Upper Merion Township, West Conshohocken Borough and Lower Merion Township next week, PennDOT.
Lane closures will be in place Monday, Oct. 30, through Thursday, Nov. 2, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. in both directions on I-76 from just west of U.S. 202 to U.S. 1/City Avenue.
Additionally, lane closures are scheduled in both directions on 76 in the same area Friday, Nov. 3, and Saturday, Nov. 4, from 9 p.m. to 9 a.m.

Crews will be working on repair operations and final pavement marking installations as part of a project to resurface 12.5 miles of the expressway, PennDOT said.
All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

Motorists are advised to use an alternate route or allow extra time when traveling on I-76 in the work area because backups and delays will occur.
