Lower Merion Closes Fords For Winter Season
As winter weather nears, drivers on Old Gulph and Righters Mill roads will find the Mill Creek fords closed now through spring.
LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA – Lower Merion Township officials have closed both of the township fords for the winter season ahead of the weekend's predicted cold temperatures and snow.
The Mill Creek fords on Old Gulph and Righters Mill roads closed in the afternoon of Friday, Dec. 8 and will reopen in the spring, when weather permits.
Montgomery County issued a Code Blue Cold Weather Emergency for the weekend ahead of the predicted freezing temperatures and snow.
