In Ward 1, Daniel S. Bernheim ran unopposed for Commissioner and won.
Democrats Paul McElhaney and Cheryl Gelber won Commissioner in Wards 3 and 5, respectively.

Elizabeth Rogan (Ward 7), George Manos, (Ward 9) and Brian McGuire (Ward 13) kept up a Democratic sweep in Commissioner races, but Republican Tiffany O’Neill played spoiler to win the Ward 11 race.
Democrat Joshua Grimes, meanwhile, won the Ward 2, two-year-term election over independent Parviz Hanjani, 51 percent to 42 percent.
In the county-wide races, Democrats enjoyed success across the ballot.
Kevin Steel took down Bruce Castor, 55 percent to 44 percent, in the much heralded race for Montgomery County District Attorney. The result means that the way could be clear for charges to be pressed against Bill Cosy.
Sean Kilkenny defeated Russell Bono in the race for Sheriff.
And Democrat Bruce Haines beat Sharon Valentine-Thomas for Register of Wills. Former Pottstown Mayor Valentine-Thomas drew headlines earlier in October when she said she would not sign marriage certificates for same sex couples.
