Lower Merion Cop Wins Award Of Valor From National Liberty Museum
Lower Merion Police Officer Matthew Freind recently won the Individual Award of Valor for his public service. Congratulations!

ARDMORE, PA – Lower Merion Police Officer Matthew Freind is no stranger to earning accolades for his public service. And now he's been honored by the National Liberty Museum with the Award of Valor.
Freind was presented with the award Wednesday, Sept. 12 at the National Liberty Museum in Philadelphia.
His service to public safety earned him the Individual Award of Valor.

The National Liberty Museum's annual Awards of Valor program, presented by local Chevrolet dealers, honors active duty police officers, police detectives, K-9 units, firefighters & fire police, EMS & EMT, other emergency responders, and law enforcement personnel from the greater Philadelphia region for remarkable acts of heroism and for serving as role models in their communities.
Freind was honored back in May this year for talking down a suicidal teen.
