Lower Merion Police Get K9 Officer Emergency Care Kits
Police in the township now have tools to help their K9 partners in the event of the K9 officers being injuring in the line of duty.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA – Police officers who are part of a K9 unit bond with their dogs in a way that few people can understand. Luckily, police in Lower Merion Township now have more peace of mind regarding their K9's health and safety thanks to Narberth Ambulance.
LMPD got Police Canine Emergency Care Kits courtesy of Narberth Ambulance Paramedic Scott Kramer recently, according to Narberth Ambulance.
The kits include important items for K9 safety and trauma care such as bandaging, a pet oxygen mask, various medications, muzzles, and more.

Kramer assembled the kits and distributed them to Lower Merion Police, as well as West Conshohocken Police, according to Narberth Ambulance.
The kits are a follow up to the recent Canine Emergency Care Training class that was held in October, Narberth Ambulance said.
