Lower Merion Township Road Seeing PECO Work For Weeks

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA – For the next several weeks, Bala Avenue in Lower Merion Township will see PECO work, which will lead to road closures during the daytime.

According to Lower Merion Township, starting Thursday, Sept. 14 PECO will begin installing new gas mains on Bala Avenue between West Levering Mill and Conshohocken State roads in the Bala Cynwyd section of

Work will be done between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. and will progress in one- to two-block increments, which will cause closures.

There will be no through access during the closure, the township said.
