New Traffic Safety Committee Meeting In Ardmore On Nov. 13

The public is invited to attend the meeting where the new ad hoc committee will discuss ways to improve pedestrian and traffic safety.

ARDMORE, PA – The public is invited to attend a meeting of the newly-formed ad hoc Traffic Safety Committee in Lower Merion Township on Nov. 13 to discuss potential measures to improve to pedestrian and traffic safety in the township.

The committee will meet at 7 p.m., Monday, Nov. 13 in the second floor board room of the Lower Merion Township Administration Building, 75 E. Lancaster Ave., Ardmore.

Residents who would like to offer input are encouraged to attend the meeting, which will not be about specific intersections or roads, the township said.

The committee meeting agenda will be available for public review on the township's website on Nov. 10 ahead of the meeting.

According to the township, the committee will discuss and listen to ideas and concepts that could improve safety for pedestrians and traffic in Lower Merion.

The committee was formed after the township board of commissioners heard complaints from residents about safety concerns.

This committee is made up of several commissioners who have worked with township staff to review current and potential policies and procedures designed to enhance traffic and pedestrian safety, the township said.
