NJ Man Prowled Outside Lower Merion Township Home: Authorities

He was arrested and charged with trespassing, prowling at night, and possession of drug paraphernalia on Dec. 21.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA – A New Jersey man was hit with trespassing and prowling at night charges in connection with a Dec. 21 incident in Lower Merion Township, according to authorities and a media report.

Evan P. Uebele, 34, of Gloucester City, New Jersey, was charged with loitering and prowling at night, criminal trespassing, and use/possession of drug paraphernalia, according to court records.

Uebele was arrested Dec. 21 and released on Dec. 22 following a preliminary arraignment, during which a judge set a $5,000 unsecured bail amount.

Police arrested Uebele after he was allegedly seen peering into a home on the 300 block of Millbank Road in Bryn Mawr, frightening the family inside, according to Main Line Media News.

Uebele is set to appear for a preliminary hearing on Jan. 4, court records show.
