Penn Valley Man In Critical Condition After Route 202 Crash: Cops

The driver of a motorcycle, a 31-year-old Lower Merion man, is in critical condition after the accident on Wednesday.

Two victims were hospitalized after a crash on Route 202 in Westtown on Wednesday mroning.

The incident occurred at about 9:05 a.m. near the 1000 block of Wilmington Pike, police said.

A 2013 Ford Fushion and 2016 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle were traveling south on Route 202 when the Ford's front bumper struck the motorcycle for undetermined reasons, according to authorities.

This caused the motorcyclist, 31-year-old man from Penn Valley, to be thrown from his bike. He landed on the center median, police said, and was taken to Paoli Hospital where he was in critical condition Wednesday afternoon.

The driver of the Ford, a 25-year-old man from Trenton, New Jersey, was also taken to Paoli Hospital, where he is in stable condition, police said.

The Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department was assisted at the scene by the Good Fellowship Ambulance, Goshen Fire Police, Medic 91, the West Chester Fire Department, West Chester Fire Police, and the West Goshen Police Department.
