Penn Wynne Hosting Alex's 'Original' Lemonade Stand June 2

Alex's own elementary school is once again preparing to host the "original" lemonade stand event with food, games, craft, and lemonade, duh!

WYNNEWOOD, PA – Alex Scott started her lemonade stand to help raise money to fight childhood cancer. While Alex sadly lost her fight with cancer, her mission and spirit lives on and her "original" lemonade stand still helps those in need.

From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 2, Penn Wynne Elementary in Wynnewood will host the annual Alex's "Original" Lemonade Stand event.

While Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation hosts tons of lemonade stands each year, the "original" is among the most important stands.

Alex was just 4 years old when she decided to open a lemonade stand to raise money to find cures for kids, like her, battling childhood cancer.

Though Alex passed away in 2004 at 8 years old, her family and friends carry on her tradition of her annual summertime lemonade stands to fight childhood cancer.
