Philly K9 Team Takes Top Place In Delco Police Dog Competition
See the top finishers in the seventh annual Delaware County Police K-9 Competition.
HAVERTOWN, PA — Police K9s from the region participated in the seventh annual Delaware County Police K-9 Competition last weekend.
Competitors were:
- Officer Mike Cahill and K9 Ace of the Philadelphia Police Department
- Officer Jim Zimmerman and K9 Dinero of the Philadelphia Police Department
- Officer Robert Ungurean and K9 Ronin of the Upper Southamptom Township Police Department
- Officer Steve Andrews and K9 Jester of the Middletown Township Police Department
- Officer Brett Greaves and K9 Onyx of the Radnor Township Police Department
- Officer Jen Cocco and K9 Rocky of the Radnor Township Police Department
- Officer Jon Valvardi and K9 Barr of the Haverford Township Police Department
- Officer Thomas McDermott and K9 Axel of the Haverford Township Police Department
- Officer Larry McLaughlin and K9 Bodhi of the Haverford Township Police Department
Cahill and Ace were named the overall champions in the event.

They also took first place in best apprehension and the obstacle course.
McLaughlin and Bodhi finished second in best apprehension, and Andrews and Jester took third in best apprehension.
