Shots Fired In Armed Main Line Carjacking: Police
The carjacking occurred early Saturday morning at an apartment complex in the Haverford section of Lower Merion Township, police said.
HAVERFORD, PA — An armed carjacking turned vehicle pursuit ended with shots being fired early Saturday on the Main Line.
Lower Merion Police were called to an apartment complex on the 400 block of Montgomery Avenue in the Haverford section of Lower Merion Township for a report of an armed carjacking at 1:45 a.m. Saturday.
Police learned the male victim was returning home to the complex when three men, one armed, took his keys and phone, then drove off in his vehicle.

The victim them got into the vehicle originally driven by the carjackers that had been abandoned and chased after the suspect, police said.
During that pursuit, police said the suspects fired at the victim.

No one was hurt by the gunfire.
Police said the victim's vehicle was later found in Camden, New Jersey.
