
Who wouldn't want to sample foods from nearly 20 local eateries, sample beer, wine, and spirits, and taste home made brews and meals from the area's best?
You can do all that at the 8th Taste of Ardmore event at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 2o at Ardmore Toyota, 219 E. Lancaster Ave., Ardmore.
The event, sponsored by Ardmore Toyota and Ardmore Initiative, promises food and drink form nearly many local establishments.

New to this year is the Homebrew Competition where attendees will vote on the best homebrewed beer. The winner will receive a brewer’s basket with a bag of malt and a box of hops from Iron Hill and Tired Hands.
Also a new addition, the Ardmore Kitchen Challenge tasks Ardmore Initiative, Main Line Foodies and LMTV’s "Living Well with Pat Nogar" are searching for the best home cook in the area. Three contestants will shop for ingredients at the Ardmore Farmer’s Market, cook their best dishes in the community kitchen of the beautiful Palmer Apartments, and then submit them to celebrity judges, all three hoping to win the title. gets a $100 gift credit to the Ardmore Farmers Market business of their choice, share their dish at Taste of Ardmore, and be a featured guest on a future episode of "Living Well With Pat Nogar."
