Work Affecting Lancaster Ave., I-476 Traffic Monday, Tuesday
Crews will be working overnight Monday and Tuesday on a beam replacement project on the Interstate 476 overpass, PennDOT said.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA – Montgomery Avenue in Lower Merion Township will be closed Monday and Tuesday night to accommodate work on the Interstate 476 overpass, according to PennDOT.
PennDOT said the road will be closed and detoured Monday, Nov. 20 and Tuesday, Nov. 21 between Old Gulph and Spring Mill roads in Lower Merion.
The road will be closed from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the net morning both days, PennDOT said.

Drivers will be detoured over Old Gulph Road and Spring Mill Road during the closure period. Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone.

Additionally, there will be lane closures on northbound I-476 between the Lancaster Avenue/U.S. Route 30 and Interstate 76 interchanges in Radnor and Lower Merion townships, as well as West Conshohocken Borough Monday, Nov. 20 through Tuesday, November 21, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, for beam replacement.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the construction areas because slowdowns will occur.
The contractor's schedule is dependent on the weather.
