• State trooper acquitted in child abuse, intimidation cases (pennlive.com) — A suspended state trooper has been acquitted of all child abuse and witness intimidation charges stemming from incidents at his Auburn home and around town, ending a four-day Schuylkill County trial. The jury's decision clears him of nine counts, but he still faces family court battles over custody and administrative appeals that will determine whether he's removed from abuse registries and reinstated to his state police job.
