• Jury acquits state trooper on all counts in child abuse, intimidation trial (republicanherald.com) — A suspended state trooper who lived in Auburn has been acquitted on all child abuse and witness intimidation charges stemming from incidents at his Auburn home and around town. The verdict clears his criminal record, but he still faces family court battles over custody and administrative fights to be removed from child abuse registries and potentially regain his job with the state police.
