“ALZHEIMER’S DISEASE: ADVANCES IN TREATMENT, CARE AND RESEARCH” PRESENTED BY A NATIONAL EXPERT AT SYMPHONY SQUARE SENIOR LIVING IN BALA CYNWYD

Professionals in the eldercare field are invited to a free presentation on the latest advances in the field of Alzheimer’s and dementia care, conducted by a leading national expert on senior health. Joan Roche, Ph.D., MS, RN, CS, a professor at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, will be the featured speaker  for “Alzheimer’s Disease: Advances in Treatment, Care and Research,” a complimentary professional educational seminar presented by Symphony Square Senior Living, on September 9  and 10, 2013 at the residence at 35 Old Lancaster Road, Bala Cynwyd, 19004.

There are two convenient opportunities to hear Dr. Roche’s presentation: Monday, September 9 at noon, when lunch will be served and Tuesday, September 10 at 8 am and breakfast will be served. Featured speaker Dr. Joan Roche is a Board Certified Clinical Nurse Specialist in Gerontological Nursing. She has published numerous articles on nursing education and has spoken on aging and health care matters before consumer and provider groups nationwide. Currently, Dr. Roche is Chair of the Evaluation Committee for a nationwide Robert Wood Johnson Foundation grant to improve care transition in health care.
