Belmont Avenue Gas Stations Cheapest by a Dime: May 24
The Sunoco and Riggins near the Schuylkill Expressway lowered regular-fuel prices again in the past week.
The two Bala Cynwyd gas stations next to the Schuylkill Expressway's Belmont Avenue exit lowered prices again in the past week, putting them 10 and 12 cents cheaper, respectively, than the next-cheapest regular-gas option in Narberth-Bala Cynwyd Patch.
The Sunoco per-gallon fee for regular gas fell from $3.95 to $3.85, the largest drop in the area. Riggins' 6-cent decrease put its price at $3.83, lowest in the area.
The City Avenue Sunoco and Netcost in Narberth both were selling regular for $3.95 Tuesday afternoon, as was Wark's Gas in neighboring Ardmore-Merion-Wynnewood Patch.
