Elysian Camerata closes its ninth concert season
with a performance of music for strings and piano at The Church of St. Asaph in
Bala Cynwyd, Sunday, May 18 at 3:00 PM. Featured on this program will be
Beethoven’s String Quartet: Op. 18, No. 1 in F major, the charming “Jeux
d'enfants" for piano four hands by George Bizet, and the Elgar Piano
Quintet.
For
the first time this season, all six members of Elysian Camerata will be
performing. This concert will mark the return of violinist/pianist Jean Shook
who will perform the Bizet piece, along with pianist Rahel Inniger. Guest
violinist Leah Kim will once again be joining the ensemble.
A
free will offering of $15.00 is suggested. The concert will be presented ‘in
the round’ and a meet-the-artists- reception will follow the concert. The
