This is a family-friendly event with
attractions for both adults and children. All will enjoy hands-on art making, including
screen printing, painting, pottery demonstrations and crafts galore, in three
huge tents set up along 25th Street. A photo display will show the transformation
of the Fairmount Art Center community over its decade in existence. There
will also be a Fairmount and Queen Village Student Art Show, featuring
artwork from {SCHOOLS}. Influential political figures from the community will
be on hand to honor the center’s artistic contributions to the children of
Philadelphia. There will be raffles!
