Lower Merion Police Name Man Found Dead at Church

Johnathan Zellars was a Philadelphia photographer, the Inquirer reported.

Lower Merion police have identified the man Friday outside as Johnathan Zellars, who died of natural causes, township officials said Monday.

A Philadelphia Inquirer report characterized Zellars as a 62-year-old photographer whose city rowhome was foreclosed in 2008 and whose residence thereafter was unclear. The report also quoted Rev. Barry J. Harte calling Zellars a member at St. Asaph's.

Police continue to seek Zellars' next of kin, township officials said. Anyone with information about any family connections can call 610-649-1000, the non-emergency police line.
