I-476 Off-Ramp to I-76 Reopens After Multi-Vehicle Accident

UPDATE 6:45 p.m.: PennDOT traffic camera just showed disabled vehicles being removed from the scene and emergency personnel reopening the ramp.

6:15 p.m.: A multi-vehicle accident interfered with rush-hour traffic on the Blue Route and Schuylkill Expressway about 5:30 p.m. Friday, PennDOT reported.

The crash happened in West Conshohocken, on northbound I-476 at the exit ramp to I-76 east to Philadelphia and for Route 23 to Conshohocken and Gladwyne.

A PennDOT traffic camera showed the whole ramp remained shut down at 6:30 p.m., and though there were no immediate official reports about injuries, at least one ambulance was seen at the scene.
