Narberth Trails Main Line Neighbors in 2011 Home Sales, Report Says

A Prudential Fox and Roach report shows Narberth's home sales dropped the most in the Main Line from the first half of 2010 to the first half of 2011. 

While the Main Line in a long-term view is one of the most stable submarkets of the Philadelphia region, it has been negatively affected by the economic downturn of the past five years. But the numbers are slowly inching back up.

Note that in analyzing data on a township-by-township basis the numbers can “swing wildly” because one large transaction or the sell out of a new construction project can have a big impact on the small amount of transactions, said Steve Storti, senior vice president of marketing for Prudential Fox and Roach.
