No Reported Injuries in Philadelphia Apartment Fire

The blaze charred parts of the three-story building in the Wynnefield section of the city, near Bala Cynwyd.

Firefighters at the scene of a Wednesday night apartment fire in the Wynnefield section of Philadelphia, near Bala Cynwyd, said no injuries were reported among the occupants, who joined hundreds of their neighbors in evacuating.

The three-story Building 28 of the Lincoln Green complex on the 4000 block of Presidential Boulevard was charred on the roof and along part of the facade. The fire was reported just before 9 p.m. and controlled before 10 p.m.
